 As per their purpose aluminium skirting 100mm is glued with a polymer adhesive in a cartridge on solid, dry, straight and aligned plaster, on concrete, bricking or other substrates.

If the substrate is absorbent, the petticoat should be fixed with appropriate acrylic glue to ensure high initial adhesion.The baseboard will be fixed to a non-absorbent substrate using an appropriate mixture of adhesives.

Before fixing, the back side of the skirt must be quickly oiled with a neutral cleaner to obtain good adhesion.When this is done, apply the adhesive to the edges of the upper and lower aluminium skirting board in a continuous strip about 1cm wide, then aim at the wall surface and press firmly. Fix it with adhesive such as Gripfill, glue- Firmly press down the trim to make sure that it stick on the surface of joint.
