Powder coating for product
With the continuous development of the powder coating process, electrostatic powder coating is widely used in the surface treatment of aluminum profiles due to its unique process characteristics. The main features are that the recycling rate is over 95%, does not pollute the environment, can be powder coated without preheating under normal temperature conditions, and can form a thick film layer at one time without hanging phenomenon.
Air spraying method
The powder coating is placed in the spray gun, and the paint is adsorbed on the surface of the preheated aluminum profile by the adsorption force of the compressed air. The powder is melted on the surface of the aluminum profile, and thermoplastic and thermosetting powders can be used, if it is a thermosetting powder. It is also cured in an oven, which is suitable for small aluminum profiles.
Fluidized bed dip coating
The aluminum profile is preheated and then immersed in a fluidized bed of powder coating to melt the powder onto the surface of the aluminum profile. Thermoplastic and thermosetting powders can be used. If it is a thermosetting powder, it should be solidified in an oven. Small aluminum profiles suitable for film thickness, as well as medium-sized pipes or metal meshes, can be dip coated in all directions.
Electrostatic powder coating
This is the most widely used powder coating method. It uses the principle of electrostatic adsorption to make the electrostatically induced powder coatings carry opposite charges and adsorb to the surface of aluminum profiles. Both thermal and cold spray can be applied. It is also required to be baked in a baking oven. This spraying method is suitable for the surface of aluminum profiles of different sizes and shapes, and both thermoplastic and thermosetting powders can be used.
