Dual-Cavity Aluminum Extrusion

Dual-cavity aluminum extrusions are formed by extruding aluminum ingots, allowing a single cross-section to serve multiple functions simultaneously-such as structural load-bearing, thermal insulation, cable routing, and drainage.

1
Formed using an advanced aluminum billet extrusion process, the structure is entirely seamless and exceptionally stable, remaining resistant to warping or bending even after long-term use.
2
Features excellent corrosion and UV resistance; the dual-chamber enclosed structure minimizes the contact area between the interior of the profile and external moisture or dust, thereby reducing the risk of internal dust accumulation and corrosion.
3
Dual-cavity aluminum extrusion processing includes precision cutting, CNC stamping, tapping, slot milling, and the machining of connection points for corner brackets.
4
Flexible customization
We can customize machining precision according to your drawings, eliminating the need to weld or rivet multiple components together; we deliver finished parts that are ready for immediate assembly.
Application Fields

Doors, Windows, and Curtain Walls: Dual-chamber thermal-break aluminum profiles serve as the core structural component for system windows and doors. By using thermal insulation strips to separate the inner and outer chambers, these profiles significantly reduce thermal conductivity, thereby enhancing thermal insulation, soundproofing, as well as water and air tightness.
Industrial Equipment and Automatio: Used for frames in automated production lines, linear module guide rails, equipment protective enclosures, and industrial computer chassis, the dual-chamber structure ensures long-term structural stability during equipment operation.
Thermal Management and Heat Dissipation Systems: Applied in heat sinks for high-power power supplies, inverter housings, and cooling enclosures for LED streetlights, the dual-chamber design creates convection channels that improve passive heat dissipation and extend the lifespan of electronic components.
New Energy and Transportation: Employed in frames for photovoltaic modules, energy storage cabinets, auxiliary support brackets for new energy vehicle battery packs, and interior profiles for rail transit, offering a balance between lightweight construction and high structural strength.
Products Description

1: Requirement Confirmation
Send us your drawings, sketches, sample photos or detailed requirements, including outer dimensions, cavity size, wall thickness, alloy grade (6063 / 6061), temper, length, machining needs and surface finish.
2: Quotation & Technical Review
Our engineering team checks the extrusion feasibility, reviews structure, wall thickness and tolerances. We provide formal quotation including mold cost, unit price, lead time and MOQ.
3: Drawing Confirmation
We make 2D/3D production drawing for your review. Any revision can be adjusted before mold making. Sign off the final drawing to lock specs.
4: Mold Manufacturing
Arrange mold processing according to the confirmed drawing. Normally mold lead time: 7–15 working days (depends on profile complexity of dual-cavity structure).
5: Trial Extrusion & Sample Approval
Run trial extrusion, cut test samples. We send sample photos or physical samples for your inspection on dimension, straightness, surface quality and structure.
6: Mass Production
After sample approval, start formal mass extrusion, followed by secondary processing: cutting, drilling, tapping, CNC milling, deburring as requested.
7: Surface Treatment
Carry out anodizing, sandblasting, powder coating or other finishes as agreed. Inspection of coating thickness and appearance.
8: Final Inspection & Packing
Full inspection of dimensions, tolerance, surface and machining quality. Pack with PE film + kraft paper + wooden pallet for sea/air shipment.
