Advantages of reverse extrusion of aluminum alloy extruder:
1. There is no friction between the billet and the extrusion cylinder. During the operation of the aluminum alloy extruder, the extrusion force remains unchanged during the full stroke of the extrusion rod. The hard-to-deform material can be extruded at a lower temperature with a higher extrusion coefficient.
2. The metal deformation is uniform, and the microstructure and mechanical properties along the length of the extruded product are basically the same.
3. Wastes such as pressure residue are significantly reduced, and have higher yield; large ingots can be used to help improve equipment efficiency and production continuity.
4. Long service life.
Disadvantages of reverse extrusion of aluminum alloy extruder:
1. The extrusion cylinder of the aluminum alloy extruder is capable of moving, so a special counter-extrusion cylinder is required, and the cost is relatively high.
2. The surface quality of the aluminum produced by the aluminum extruder is low.
3. The reverse extrusion cycle time is longer, and the larger circumscribed circle diameter of the extruded aluminum material is limited by the strength of the hollow extrusion rod.
4. The loading and unloading tool is troublesome and the auxiliary time is long.
