(一) Uneven board surface, not vertical, seam width inconsistent, height inconsistent
1. Causes: horizontal or vertical deviations of the framework, uneven elevation, excessive deviations in board installation, misaligned holes;
2. Prevention and control measures:
(1) Starting from the installation of embedded parts and expansion bolts, operations must be carried out carefully. When installing the framework, use horizontal and vertical guide lines, ensure the plane is level, and then check with a theodolite for process acceptance;
(2) When positioning the panels and framework, drilling must be accurate;
(3) During panel installation, it cannot be done arbitrarily; installation must follow the plan and marked lines. Before installation, the size and shape of the panels should be checked, and installation can only proceed if there are no errors.
(二) The joint sealing is not tight, uneven, with bubbles and water leakage.
1. Causes:
(1) When backfilling with polyethylene foam during joint filling, the back of the board was not properly blocked. When using a caulking gun to inject sealant, insufficient pressure was created, resulting in poor adhesion to the board joint and inadequate sealing;
(2) Operators were not skilled. During joint filling, the distance between the gun nozzle and the joint was inconsistent, causing uneven pressure, resulting in irregular thickness, multiple joints, air entrapment, uneven surface of the sealant, bubbles, and water leakage;
(3) Material issues: there are quality problems with the silicone sealant.
2. Prevention and Control Measures:
(1) Select good materials and ensure the tools perform well;
(2) Carefully insert the sealing filler, maintaining a consistent distance from the board surface, and keep the depth of the sealant consistent to make the joints dense and the seam surfaces straight;
(3) Workers should be skilled, hold the caulking gun steadily, maintain a consistent speed and distance, expel air as they fill, and puncture any bubbles that appear, then smooth them out with a trowel to remove the air.
(三) The closure treatment is not firm, not smooth, and not sealed.
1. Cause: Not constructed according to requirements, installation not meticulous, improper methods.
2. Prevention and Control Measures:
(1) Prepare a closure plan before construction, and adopt reasonable closure plans for different structures and conditions;
(2) Operate strictly during installation and master the key points.
(四) Surface contamination, dents
1. Causes:
(1) Protective film removed too early, improper protective measures for finished products;
(2) Improper protection of finished products during the next process, causing impact on the panel surface.
2. Prevention and Control Measures:
(1) Do not remove the protective film too early; it is best to remove it when dismantling the scaffolding;
(2) Develop feasible finished product protection measures during work;
(3) Clean and wipe areas of contamination promptly.
