Electrophoretic painting can also be regarded as an organic polymer special sealing hole. It is anodized aluminum material placed in a water-soluble acrylic acid varnish. The aluminum material is used as an anode at a DC voltage of 90-150V. Under electrophoresis, an insoluble paint film is deposited on the surface of the oxide film, and then baked and cured at a high temperature of 170 to 200°C.The main points of the electrophoretic paint production process are as follows:
(1) The power supply fluctuation factor must be no more than 6%. The voltage fluctuation causes the paint film to produce pinholes, orange peel or loss of light.
(2) The anodizing temperature is too low, and the paint film is prone to cracking during curing.
(3) The conductive beam must be rinsed out before electrophoresis, and the drip water is prevented from contaminating the electrophoresis tank.
(4) The two washing tanks and the hot water tank after electrophoresis should be equipped with a circulation filtration system.
(5) After electrophoresis, the solid fractions of the two washing tanks are controlled to be less than 1.5% and less than 0.5%, respectively, so as to avoid defects such as spots, sag, and loss of light.
(6) The RO film (reverse osmosis membrane) for anodic electrophoresis should be used for paint recovery.
(7) The curing oven temperature is controlled within ±5 °C, and the temperature difference will produce chromatic aberration.
(8) If the electrophoretic colored aluminum electrophoretic layer is cured, if it is discolored, it may be considered to reduce the curing work appropriately.
(9) The curing oven should be cleaned regularly, and the workshop should be protected against dust.
